From the South: I-95 North to Exit 278 .Old Dixie Highway..
Turn left at end of ramp, go over I.95, the park entrance is on
Right, at the gas station. Follow the road past the gas station,

Dogwood Trail Rally
BMW Riders Of Mississippi
The Annual BMW Riders Of Mississippi Dogwood Trail Rally will be held on April 1-2-3 2005 in Edwards, Mississippi, about 10 minutes from Vicksburg, Mississippi.
Local color includes antebellum homes, plantation tours, civil war battlefields, and casinos, along with some great nearby riding. Visit some ruins, or take a leisurely ride on the Natchez Trace Parkway! See our link to Exploring Mississippi.
There's a Friday night meal until it's gone, a Saturday and Sunday morning pancake breakfast, prizes, field events for riders and kids, as well as lots of coffee and Southern Hospitality! Saturday night we have a live band and camp fire.
There's tent camping as well as some RV spaces with hook ups and lots of nearby hotels and motels for those non-campers.
The rally is at Askews Landing Campground, Interstate 20 at exit # 19: go west on Askews Ferry Road (service road) 2 1/2 miles to Askews Ferry Campground. $25 registration fee, rally pins to first 150.

Directions :
From Airline Hwy. Between Causeway and the Orleans parish line
take Ridgewood Dr. There is a light at this intersection. The
park is 0.5 mile on the right.
From Bonnabel Blvd. Go south on Bonnabel to Metairie Rd. Turn
left at light. Within 2 blocks make a right onto Hollywood Dr.
Continue straight, cross RR tracks then bear left toward the
park. Enter the park and continue around the track, past the
community center in the back. #5 is all the way in the back,
near the railroad tracks.

Ride to Ol' River Steakhouse.
Leave at 10:00am from the Shell station parking lot off Hwy 190
in
Mandeville on the North Shore.
When you get off the causeway on the North Shore stay to the
right, its
the 1st Shell station on the right about 3 blocks down
from the end
of the causeway.
We'll go North on hwy 190 to hwy 25 thru Folsom and
Franklinton.
We'll continue on hwy 25 which turns into hwy 27 when we get to
Mississippi. When we get to Tylertown we'll turn left on hwy
48.
Follow 48 to the bridge. Take a right at the last street before
the bridge
Follow the road to the Ol' River Steakhouse.
On Sundays there's a good buffet for $7.99 or you can order from
the menu.

Bonfire and Gumbo Ride & December
General Meeting
The
December General Meeting and Elections have been rescheduled to
coincide with this event .
Ride
along River Road to view the Bonfires being built for Christmas
Eve then follow up with a sumptuous meal of gumbo and potato
salad.
Meet
at The Donut Hole in Laplace. It is on the corner of Hwy.
51 and Hwy 61 (Airline Hwy.) We will leave this location
at 11:00 a.m. (sharp). Travel along the Mississippi River
to St. James Parish where we will take a break to climb the
levee and look at the bonfires. Afterwards, we will take a
short ride to Reserve and feast on homemade gumbo and potato
salad.
